Chicken Poop and more…….
I don’t know about you, but I think the scrawny little legs on a chicken are “Piece of _ _ _ _.” I hate dark meet and there is not enough stuff on those skinny little legs to feed my pet rat, “Earl”.
But I did come across a good way to grill this bird that actually taste good and doesn’t waste those little scrawny legs. Pull the bones away from the meat and and cut them into little 1 inch pieces. Throw the bones in a pot of boiling water with a little sugar, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and the green part of some scallions. Cook this mess for about 1 1/2 hours and reduce the liquid by half and strain out the bones(The Slather).
Take some soaked skewers and that little dark rat meat you refrigerated and start skewering it with big chunks of scallions (the white part now) in between. Place them on your hot grill and start brushing that chicken bone broth all over the chicken. For a final touch, slather some BARBEYAKI GRILLING SAUCE just before you remove them.
Now That’s pretty resourceful.
